Diamond D-JET in ATP Colors

At the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show this year, Diamond Aircraft once again displayed a pre-production D-JET in ATP colors.

ATP has 20 Diamond D-JETs on order and will provide factory-authorized initial type rating and recurrent training to D-JET buyers at multiple locations across the US and Canada. As ATP's fleet of D-JETs comes on-line, Airline Career Pilot Program students will train for their D-JET type ratings and fly nationwide cross-country flights in the new jets. Not only will the jet operating experience make ATP graduates most qualified for airline and corporate pilot jobs, but it will also open up many other opportunities through ATP’s managed pilot monitoring (“mentoring”) network for D-JET owners.

Diamond expects to begin D-JET production in 2011.
